The Rural Voice CVR was created to help residents better understand local government in the County of Vermilion River.
Municipal government affects many aspects of daily life—from roads, taxes, land use, and emergency services to long-term planning and community development. Yet many of the decisions made by Council are discussed through lengthy agendas, technical reports, and legislation that can be difficult to interpret.
The purpose of this website is to make that information easier to understand by providing clear, plain-language explanations while encouraging readers to review the original public documents whenever possible.
